I can't believe it is 2021, June the 15th. Time flies.

We are now in Malaysia, on the 3rd lockdown.  Looking through my old blogs, things have really changed. No more travelling overseas......

I guess we will have to wait it out.

What is your favorite pet? My favorite pet is a dog. Dogs are men’s best friend. 

In my opinion, dogs are the best pets because it can help the blind. Dogs can be trained to do tricks. Dogs are very fun to play with once you train it. 

My favorite breeds of dogs are Chihuahuas and Toy Terriers. I thank God that he has given me a wonderful pet Chihuahua.

You Do Not Have to Do It Yourself

I didn't know that in Malaysia, you can actually use a courier service to perform change in name/account status for electricity and water application. I am sure there are a lot of other services that courier companies offer.

It so happens that my company has an account with a courier company and I used them to apply for the change of name for TNB. The charge was RM11.50. I think it was worth it as it would cost me the same to drive there, park and wait for my number to be called. Why not let a professional do it for you?

I am very happy with this service.

How to Change name in Tenaga?

This is similar to my post on how to change name in Syabas.

After getting your keys to your new place, you have to first make sure your LAWYER has confirmed that the seller has terminated their TENAGA account. Else like what happened to me, my lawyer "forgot" to tell me about this.....(email me if you want to know who is my lawyer and why you should not use them).....this left me with a wasted trip.

Tenaga told me that there was an outstanding bill and my previous owner had not closed their account. Therefore I could not change the account to my name.

Anyway, if you have any queries, I advise you to use Tenaga's webchat as this is super efficient....

You can ask them all the questions you need Online!!!!!! English and BM also can.

Anyway, if you just want to know the documents needed, they are listed below:

1. Photocopy IC
2. Full set of Sale and Purchase Agreement (photocopy)
3. RM800 deposit for 2 months (this depends on your property...best to webchat an ask TNB)
4. RM10 Stamp duty
5. RM3 Processing Fee
6. Application form.....tick the CHANGE IN TENANCY box on page 2 of the application form

That's it....you can make your way to TNB.

Or else you can also ask a Courier service to do it. All the best in your application ......

How to Perform Change of Name in Syabas?

This is connected to another one of my blog on how to change the name for Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB)

Having shifted back from Singapore to Malaysia, Selangor. We decided to buy a terrace house.

After we got the keys from the seller, we had to go and apply to change the water supply (Syabas) account from the seller to our name.

A search on the internet pointed us to Syabas website. Perhaps it was my mistake in searching with the wrong keywords, I ended up looking at the wrong page in Syabas. Finally after asking the Syabas people on Facebook and getting a reply from them.....still unclear, by God's grace i stumbled upon this page today.

In short this is what you need.

1) Copy of related documents (such as Sale and Purchase Agreement (just photocopy the whole document), Land title, Quit rent or Tenancy/Lease Agreement, etc.)

2) Accept the Water Supply Application Terms and Condition

SYA/T1/1 for landed property

SYA/T2/1 for individual sub meter which water supplied through Bulk Meter

(whatever that means, I do not think anyone will bother to read)

3) Water bill of the premise (if available) 

4) Copy of Identification Card (I/C) or Company Registration Number and Company Chop/Stamp

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE!!!!!

Make sure your previous owner has cancelled their account with Syabas, else you will have to pay their outstanding balance before Syabas allow you to change name.

The Holy Communion

Psalm 103:3

Thank you Jesus for the revelation that You forgive ALL my sins is referring to the Blood in the Holy Communion. And You forgive ALL my sins is referring to the Body in the Holy Communion.

Thank you Daddy God...today Mummy has finally said it from her mouth that she can go to heaven peacefully.Its good to see her be herself again. For someone who is so afraid of death to say that she is looking forward to go to heaven is indeed a miracle. Daddy God, she is waiting to see you and Jesus.....

My prayer for Mummy: May the Lord Bless her with a glorious departure where she enters heaven in a state of rest. In Jesus Name I ask, Amen!

Psalm 103:3

I did not realize that healing takes the same level as salvation. If I am so sure that I am saved because of Jesus death on the cross, I can also be sure that Jesus has healed all my diseases on the cross. Simple, verse 3 says that:

"He forgives ALL my sins
and heals ALL my diseases"

Wow....my body is strengthened up meditating on the word ALL. My Jesus is indeed a BIG and generous Lord and Saviour....he does not heal some, forgive some but ALL.....Jesus, I love you for loving me so much!

I am so blessed.

Blessed to be a blessing

People ask God .... Why I do not get this? God why when I pray you do not answer..

I do not profess to know the answer, but personally I believe if we ask for things that will impact our lives greatly, the Lord will know when is the right time and whether our heart and attitude is right and ready to receive the things we ask for.

If we have the attitude of asking God to bless us so tha we can be a blessing to others, I believe we will end up praying prayers that get answered more often.

Only a relationship with God has power. Rituals has no power.

Dumplings

Ah....my friend from China just emailed me his dinner.....i think it looks so clear and tranquil.....it sort of give you the feeling of calmness looking at the dumplings floating on the water...

The cut chilli with light soya sauce is indeed something that pairs nicely with the dumpling.

Roasted Pork Neck

It was raining when I returned home....my wife had already put in the pork neck roast that I marinated in the morning. Hmmmm....the aroma of roast meat is always a welcome sign for a hungry man.

The roast turned out better then we expected. The meat was tender and juicy. The kids had second helpings of the mash potatoes and roasted pork.

It was indeed a great meal. Once again, we are Blessed cos everyone was Done on the Cross. Thank you Jesus!

Sold Sold Sold

Well, today marks the second time I have sold second hand baby products on the net. The first was a breast milk pump that wasn't necessary anymore. Today, I just sold a Mclaren Double Stroller.

Thank you Daddy God, it was indeed a year of restful increase. I placed the ad, on the web, a few calls came in, amounted to nothing but inquiries.

Today, the buyer was really genuine. Came and paid for the stroller on-time. Thank you Jesus!

Actually, this was a really needed sale cos my store room is full to the brim as 3 bicycles were added :-) Only my Daddy God knows when is the time to sell the stroller...no point getting anxious in the heart, all things will work out well at the right time. This brings me to this verse:


Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. ⁷And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

You have served us well.....we have survived numerous countries together and you never broke down or gave up on us! We will not miss you.

Oven Roasted Pork Shoulder

Its funny that this morning my colleague said that he smells "Char Siew Rice" in the office at 9.30am......oppsie...i think it was me.

My fingers still has the lingering aroma of bbq sauce, spices, herbs, garlic ......I marinated the pork shoulder this morning before coming to office....going to roast it for dinner....can't wait.

Wow, I did not realise that a something so small could be so strong.....I believe it is the garlic that's leaving the office smelling like Char Siew rice.



Thinking about it, although we are so small compared to God, I think we have a very BIG impact on HIM. Otherwise, why would Daddy God send His Son, His Only Son to die on the cross as a sacrifice for me? Wow, I really feel awed that I am so important to God....thank you so much for loving me Daddy God and Brother Jesus!

Update on Naan...we made it!

Remember I said earlier that we were going to make Naan for dinner....well, in my enthusiasm, I made double portions and ended up with so many Naans.....

Ha ha ha, oh well, those that we could not finish went into the freezer.....I must say, they tasted pretty good when we ate them the next day.

Naan I must say is such a simple yet delicious and healty food. I like it with the curry, as you can see below :-)

Definitely will make them again...the garlic ones are very aromatic.

Banana Chocolate Chip Muffin

Haven't had a muffin for a long time....what better one than a home-made Banana Chocolate Chip Muffin.

The aroma of the bananas while baking was simply magical.

Muffins are real comfort food......hmmm comfort food, I guess its best when it is made by your loved ones. This batch was made by my darling wife. There were 12 of them, we finished 6 in 1 sitting.

Thank you Jesus for such awesome "bread"!

Faith in a different perspective

Went to church and heard a powerful sermon on Faith.....yah...Faith....boring right? What you must do to get Faith, blah blah blah.....


But yesterday was different. It was looking at Faith from a different angle.


Mark 11: 24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.


The key word was not having more faith, but believing.....  Believe and you will receive.


It does not say, believe after you receive.


Wow....revelation!!!!!


How to believe and receive......the key is to Act Like It.


Actually the realm of God is outside time....sort of like in a time machine.....The realm of God is FAITH. To me, personally, I cannot see God but God is there.....this is the same faith to apply for the things that we pray and believe.

The realm of the devil is in feelings.....feelings, emotions, Examples, I dun feel well, I feel down, I feel sad, etc....all feelings, do not let feelings take control of you.

I am blessed!

Knowing that God never stops working

Just meditating on the word, in Psalm 112:3. It is so true in The Message bible that :


Their houses brim with wealth 
And a generosity that never runs dry. 

To me it is the Lord's generosity that never stops or runs dry towards us. Oh how love is Your Name, Jesus.

Even when we are not doing anything, God is doing something. And it is something for me!
I love you Jesus! 
Its great to know that no matter how much we take from Jesus, the supply will always fill the cup back to its brim.
